Let us look at the Apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe as it applies to the events of today.1. Our Lady is clothed with the sun with the moon beneath her feet. This is nothing more than a reference to Apocalypse 12, which the Church applies to Mary as well as to the Church herself, during this crisis.2. She is pregnant, which is a reference to being in labor to give birth of Apocalypse12. This We believe refers directly to the interregnum from October 9, 1958 until July 15, 1990. The Church was in labor to give birth to a Pope, but in an extraordinary manner, because the election had been ended with an heretical usurper and was not to commence for over three decades! 3. She appears to Juan Diego in the Mexican desert. We believe that the Church is in a desert. In looking at Apocalypse 12, this exile in the desert continues to this day (August, 2007).4. At the time of the Apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Americas were steeped in paganism. Today the world is steeped in a neo-paganism. 5. There are 46 stars on Mary's cloak. Oklahoma, where Pope Michael was born is the 46th state in the United States. Does the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe apply directly to Pope Michael? God does nothing without a reason, often many reasons. Some day We wish to pursue a discussion of Divine Providence. However, for now, let Us consider Our Lady of Guadalupe and Pope Michael. When Mary appeared in Mexico City in 1531, Oklahoma and Kansas were within the jurisdiction of the diocese of Mexico City. The first Martyr in the United States was Fr. Juan Padilla OFM, sent from Mexico City. The date and place of his martyrdom is uncertain. However, several places in Kansas have been given as possible locations. One is near Lyons, Kansas, where Kennett Bawden, my father, lived for a while. My grandfather, George Allen Bawden Sr., worked on drilling rigs near Lyons and Ellsworth, Kansas in the 1930s. Does all of this prove that David Bawden is Pope? No, this is not proof, but an interesting coincidence,, which is related for your edification. The basis of the Papal Election is the doctrines and laws of the Catholic Church. 
Our Lady of Guadalupe and Pope Michael
Our Lady of Guadalupe, mystical rose, make intercession for holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke thee in their necessities, and since thou art the ever Virgin Mary and Mother of the true God, obtain for us from thy most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, burning charity and the precious gift of final perseverance. This prayer is so full of meaning. In fact,t he whole apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City is ripe with meaning. Let us begin, though, with the prayer.
Make intercession for holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff. Mary is the protector of the Church and of her head, the Pope. Why did God in His Divine Providence add this to this particular prayer?
We are reminded that Mary is Mother of the true God, which has been attacked by the heretics of today, the Modernists. As such this prayer can be said to be a Profession of Faith in this doctrine. Remember that our prayers not only petition, they often express the truths of the Faith!
obtain for us... the grace of keeping our faith. Did Pope Saint Pius X know that our faith would soon be attacked far more than previously? Remember he had already said that he feared Antichrist had already been born, when he approved this prayer!
We ask for burning charity, because we are now in the time with charity shall grow cold.
